Welcome to the website for Pearl Fishing and Aqua Culture Limited (PEFAL).

PEFAL started operation in 2002 with 4 grow-out ponds, raising tilapia and catfish for sale.  Over the years, PEFAL has adapted its operations to the changing production and market environment.  Recently, the company has begun diversifying its activities by introducing a hatchery for tilapia fry and fingerlings; concurrently, production is being restructured by moving from reliance on grow-out ponds to cage aquaculture production.  The main focus of the cage operations is tilapia production.

PEFAL can now supply farmers with sex-reversed (97% male) tilapia fingerlings at affordable prices and high quality standards.  We are creating capacity to provide up to 200,000 fingerlings every 6 months, and are expecting to grow further as our client's and our own demand for fingerlings expands.  We welcome enquiries from customers about delivery schedules and other marketing information.

We supply mature tilapia both from the remaining grow out ponds, and from our expanding cage culture operations.  We particularly welcome customers who buy in bulk from our production premises.  Other wholesale/retail customers are also warmly welcomed.
